What is “Year in the Wild?”

I’m a photographer and writer focusing on protected areas in Africa. From July 2013 to October 2014, I’m exploring South Africa’s most special reserves, as well as the transfrontier parks in southern Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The goal? To share the beauty of these wild places, and inspire others to experience for themselves the incomparable wonders of African wilderness.
