The weather in the Cederberg this week has been simply amazing. Clear skies, warm days, cool (sometimes chilly!) nights, snow on the highest peaks. The fynbos plants are rich in colour. The rivers are all flowing strongly. The water is the clearest and cleanest I’ve seen. I managed a swim in one of them near the farm of Driehoek – ICY!! Took me about two hours to warm up afterwards, but it was so worth it. We’re off to climb up to the famous Wolfberg Cracks tomorrow, then sleeping overnight on the top of the mountain at the Wolfberg Arch. Can’t wait.
Here are some photos from the past few days…I really hope that they capture some of the essence of these beautiful mountains. They are starting to feel like home now. I’m not sure I want to leave at the end of this week.

Hey scott,
Love the photos – looks like you are getting some great weather to capture the Cederberg in all its glory.
So jealous.
Cheers
